How do I set my Social settings for all of my social media sites?
How can I integrate my social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace into my Paid2Bpopular account? Under the Profile menu, there is an option called “Socially Me” which is where you need to go to allow integration to those other sites.
You need to allow access to each one and log in through our site. Once you allow access and log in, it will bring you back to our site.
For example, you want to integrate your Facebook account. Under Socially Me, you click “connect” to Facebook.
A box will pop up for Facebook asking you to log into your Facebook. account. Once you log in, it will ask you to “Allow” our site to integrate your Facebook account. Once you hit “Allow”, it will redirect you back to Paid2Bpopular. Continue doing this for all the social media sites you want to integrate into Paid2Bpopular.
Once you have integrated those sites, you can view all of your friends’ comments, actions, etc on your Dashboard of Paid2Bpopular in real time. Depending on what social media sites you integrate, you will see all of your updates by time entered like in your other accounts. There will be a little emblem right next to the comment telling you where the post is from. Example: “f” for Facebook and “t” for Twitter with your friends’ profile picture and comment just like in your other social media accounts.
Example: You have integrated your Twitter and Facebook account into Paid2Bpopular, you will see all your tweets and comments from facebook in the same section based on time entered.
Once I allow the integration, can I disallow it? Yes, you can allow or disallow any account at any time under “Socially Me”. Once you are there, you can “Disconnect” or “Connect” any account. You will notice that there are many, many different accounts that you can link up to for convenience.
Do I have to integrate my other social networks into Paid2Bpopular? No you do not have to integrate your social networks. You have the ability and control to integrate one, two, or all of your social media sites into Paid2Bpopular as a convenience. It’s a great way to save time as you only have to post 1 comment, upload the photo once, write the event once, etc and literally post to all of your sites in one easy action. The choice is up to you and you have to manually integrate those sites into Paid2Bpopular so you have full control.
What social media sites can I integrate into Paid2Bpopular?Just to name a few….Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, friendster, Yahoo connect, Hyves, Windows live, Bebo, AOL, Verisign, Blogger, Live Journal, Word Press, Typepad, Youtube, Photobucket and many more.
How do I set my Social settings for all of my social media sites?Under the Profile section, click “Socially Me” where you will see a box to the right with several options. Click on the 3rd option down named “Social Settings”.
Here you will have several options on how to share your information across your social media sites. The “Status update” is the first item that you can update to your preference. The status update gives the option of “Always ask me”, “Update Automatically”, and “Do not update at all”. These options are regarding how you would like your different activities shared on Paid2Bpopular with your other social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
The automatic setting is set for “update automatically” which means when you type a phrase on the main dashboard under “What’s on your mind” in Paid2Bpopular, it will automatically go to the social media that you have integrated such as your Facebook, Twitter, etc immediately like if you typed it in those accounts. That same comment will be in your Paid2Bpopular account as well as whatever other accounts you have integrated. Example: You entered “Great start to the day” in Paid2Bpopular account, your Facebook, Twitter, MySpace will also have that same comment on those accounts.
If you have “Always Ask me” set, then every time you add a comment, photo, etc in Paid2Bpopular a box will pop up asking if you want to share the comment or photo with your other sites and you can pick and choose which ones you want to send it to. An example is that you upload a photo to Paid2Bpopular and have the “Always Ask me” section set. The box will pop up to ask if you want to send it anywhere else such as Facebook, Twitter, etc and you have the ability to not publish it anywhere else or pick only 1 or 2 accounts. You have total control over this feature.If you have “Do not update at all” then your comments on Paid2Bpopular or pictures will only be updated to your Paid2Bpopular account.
